DJ, Promoter & Producer - Hayz is one of the most talented breaks DJs in the UK with his infectious funky grooves and unique style of mixing, cutting and scratching. 

He has performed alongside a host of top acts including French sensation - Flore, Beat Assassins, Goodgroove Records and award winning Producers - the Groove Diggerz. At the top of his game, he continues to forge strong relations with countless record labels, artists and producers. He founded Headspin Promotions hosting Headspin events - backed by NSB Radio & Streetwise Music Ltd.  Hayz’s style of music is funky, infectious and constantly exclusive – providing the perfect balance between commercial and cool. 

Over the past few years, Hayz has performed at a host of venues alongside respected names in the industry, including the successful Social at Jrink in Soho, London, where he performed alongside Ninelives the Cat & Sick Rick and currently hosts Headspin one Friday a month at Indigo - Windsor’s finest club. He also holds a weekly residency at the White Lotus club in Henley-On-Thames & is resident weekend DJ at Beaconsfield’s swanky Greyhound winebar. He also performs at venues such as ArchAngel, High Street Kensington, London where he hosted several Headspin events, booking top acts including Plaza de Funk, Beat Assassins, Flore and funkiest label on the planet - Goodgroove Records.

Hayz was recently special guest DJ in the mix on Moneyshot & Parker’s prime-time Saturday night radio show on XFM and followed the footsteps of Soul of Man, Drumattic Twins, Friendly and Bass Kleph by appearing as special guest on French producer - Flore’s prestigious ‘De La Break’ (iBreaks radio) recently. On top of this he was invited as special guest on both the Diverted Traffic Show (NSB radio), the Lime Sorbet show (Citrona Recordings) hosted by Quincy Jointz of Geriba, boasting guests such as the Fort Knox 5, Flow Dynamics, All Good Funk Alliance & Ursula 1000 and featured on Mi-to Breaks - Brap FM in March, 2008.

Hayz now produces his own remixes and original tracks.  His latest track Rhyme Assassin has been signed by Breakbeat Paradise Recordings and will be released in early 2009, including remixes from Lo-Definition (Loop De Ville) & Jayl Funk.

Hayz’s career as a DJ spans over 16 years. Hitting the turntables in 1993, he swiftly landed a residency at the legendary club - The Music Factory and regularly appeared as guest DJ at a host of Sheffield’s finest venues, including The Republic, the Leadmill and Showroom Bar.
